Despite the fact that Google has its
won operating system Chrome OS that powers laptops, more and more
employees of Google prefer the products manufactured by another American
tech giant, which is Apple.
During LISA ’13 (a conference), the
representatives of Google’s top management told the audience that Google
offices worldwide count some 43 000 iMacs and still counting. The
percentage used to be lower. At this point, Apple computers are the key
tools for Google employees. Other devices and platforms are used as
production necessities.
Meanwhile, Google’s net profit
increased by 36,4% in Q3 2013. In particular, the company’s net profit
increased up to $2,97bn during the reporting period. At the same time,
the company’s proceeds increased by 12% up to $14,89bn!
For reference sake, Google accounts
for 80% of global search requests. The biggest profits come from
advertising tied to web search.
